The northern members gather to celebrate 2022 TOY Finalist Lissa Kellogg of Lyon County.

2022 Teacher of the Year Deanne Moyle-Hicks is honored by Governor Sisolak and State Superintendent Jhone Ebert.

Deanne is National Board Certified and teaches fourth grade at Natchez Elementary on the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation.

NVSTOY welcomed new members of the 2021 cohort. Nevada Teacher of the Year, Juliana Urtubey and finalists Perryn Hale, Shelly Nee, Christina Bourne, and Lynn Jeka.

Virtual ceremony held for 2021 Nevada Teacher of the Year

Juliana Urtubey of Clark County School District was announced as the 2021 Nevada Teacher of the Year by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jhone Ebert, joined by by Gov. Steve Sisolak and members of Booker Elementary School community.
