About the Conference
This free, virtual conference is specifically designed for Nevada’s early career educators in their third through sixth year of teaching. The conference sessions will be held on Friday, October 14th from 4pm-8pm and on Saturday, October 15th from 9am- 3pm.
ON TARGET: 2022 presentations will focus on topics that support Nevada’s early career educators, urban and rural (Yes, from Las Vegas to Carson, from Esmeralda to White Pine, from Washoe and Storey to Douglas, Lincoln, Eureka, Churchill, Nye, Pershing, Lander, Lyon, Nye, Mineral, Humboldt … ALL of our early career educators) who are in their 3rd-6th year teaching in the classroom.
The 2022 ECEL Conference explores:
Self Care: Actively preserve or improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Communication: Build relationships with and expand advocacy for students, families, and educators.
Reflective Practice: Learn from experience and actions to improve outcomes.
Not only is this conference FREE for NV educators, a $250 stipend is available for Nevada’s Pre-K-12 early career classroom teachers who attend the entire conference and are currently in their 3rd through 6th year in the classroom.
